If you’ve ever done a juice cleanse in the past you’re one of two people. The one who loves it, swears by it and enjoys it. Or me, hates it but does it to prevent having to work out or stop eating pizza. Ha a least you’re honest with yourself]
Being that I’m the one who doesn’t always love it, I have found a few juice cleanses that aren’t that bad and some of which allow you to snack between so you’re not a horribly hangry human being. My sister will vouch that me being hungry is the worst person to be around… no doubt about it. [vouched]
One of the first juice cleanses that became mainstream. The reason they are great for all juice cleansing participants is that there are levels from beginner to most experienced. More importantly, it is very cost friendly – you aren’t dropping hundreds of dollars to do a quick cleanse.
Based out of NYC, you probably see it walking to work or the gym. The benefit of this program is that you have length options – do you want to commit to being a healthier human for 1, 3, or 5 days? [is there a bulk discount?] They also have an environmentally friendly option where you can blend at home and help save some containers.
An affordable option which allows you to eat in between juices. This one was the easiest because I could have as many fruits and raw veggies between juices and don’t get too cranky. Downside is that it’s 7 days long… make it 1 day and I can eat, then I’m more than sold. [sounds like a typical Thursday to me…]
In all honesty, a cleanse is not to help with weight loss or to get skinny before a beach vaca – it’s to reset your body. The way we need to reset our minds, our bodies need it to. We don’t realize how much junk we consume and what it actually does to our bodies and gut health. Just taking a break and resetting can do wonders… and if it puts you in your two piece in time then you’ve definitely won!
What are some of the juice cleanses you have done? Not sure I’ll try them but I’ll force my sister to do them and report back! [I did not agree to this]
