Sweaters, warm bonfires, crisp nights, and a nice cozy cocktail. Whether you’re hosting or just enjoying a drink for yourself, I wanted to share a few of my favorite Fall Cocktails. Easy to make and easier to enjoy!
Mulled Wine
This is great for fall and winter. We like to make mulled wine and take it on walks around the neighborhood in the evenings [by WE she means ME]. If you haven’t tried mulled wine, you’re missing out, it’s fall in a cup and easy to make with ingredients you already have at home.
What you need:
- Bottle of dry red or white wine [never tried it with white before… maybe for day drinking?]
- Fresh apple cider (pick it up from a local farm or market)
- Cinnamon sticks, all spice, and cloves
- Few slices of apples or oranges – not a must but a nice touch!
Recipe details are here!
Apple Cider Mimosas
A nice twist on a classic brunch cocktail – easy and delish! Coat your rims with some cinnamon sugar for an extra sweet sip.
What you need:
- 1 bottle of champagne
- 1 cup of apple cider
- 2 tbsp sugar + 1 tbsp ground cinnamon
Recipe details are here!
Honey Ginger Margarita
You’re probably thinking, is this fall inspired? Yes, it’s fall and it’s tequila, therefore it’s one of my favorites. Don’t knock it till you try it!
What you need:
- Tequila
- Honey syrup
- Lime juice
- Ginger
- Salted rim
Let me know if you love it too, recipe here! [ok please make me this one this weekend]
Cider Mule
I’m not a big fan of a Moscow Mule [I am], so this one is for my sister who loves them [LOL spoke too soon]. To me this is better than a regular Mule, so let’s see if she agrees.
What you need:
- Vodka
- Lime
- Apple Cider
- Ginger Beer
Check out the recipe details here! [hmm sounds a little sweet to me but I’ll give it a go]
You have to tell us what you think and if there are any fall inspired drinks we’re missing that we need to try out! Leave us some ideas in the comments below!
